KTS Law Enforcement Training is offering several new courses for 2023. All of these classes can be taught in your department. A classroom with 20+ seats, Projector, sound, and a screen is all needed.
Fundaments of Patrol 16 hrs. $350 per student
Criminal Investigations 16 hrs. $350 per student
First Line Leadership 8hrs or 16hrs $175 or $350 per student
Interview and Interrogations 16 hrs. $350 per student
Street Gang Identification & Investigation 8 hrs. or 16 hrs. $175 or $350 per student
Suppression Free Search Warrants 8 hrs $175 per student
Agencies and organizations wishing to host a class can do so in two formats. Agencies can host a closed course that is for only your agency. The agency will need to guarantee a minimum of 10 students how. Ever I prefer a class size of at least 15. Agencies that wish to host an open class will receive two free seats off the top. If the venue can hold more than 20 seats, the host agency will receive another free seat for every ten seats sold after the 20th seat.
For example, if the class sells 30 seats, the agency will receive an additional free seat for a total of 3.
The Instructor, Sgt Eric Smith, is a 21-year veteran of the Charleston Police Department. During his 21-year career, Sgt. Smith has received numerous awards and commendations. Before being promoted, Sgt Smith worked as a Detective in the Charleston Police Departments Special Enforcement Unit. A detective with the Criminal Investigation Division during that time, Sgt Eric Smith was assigned to investigate Cold Case Homicide case and then as the Intelligence officer for over seven years in the Charleston Police Departments Criminal Investigation Division. During Sgt’s 21-year career, he applied for and received over 800 search warrants without a single search warrant being suppressed. Upon retiring from the Charleston Police Department, Eric Smith took on the Director of Public Safety role, where he currently supervises employees over two campuses. Eric Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and is completing his Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership.
